Record Library publications disallow any and all additional markings or imagery on pages and covers including a bar code, QR code, sticker, label, and never a price tag. All Record Library books are FREE and UNATTRIBUTED.


Donation Covers

One legible hard-back / leather-back cover design must be drafted by the composer and approved by the Record Library.

An additional paper-back cover design is an option if composers wish, but only two covers (one hard-back, one paper-back) are available for any one book in the Record Library.

Any and all other books where the pages or cover has been deliberately altered in any way are considered forgeries by the Record Library.

Any sticker found on a Record Library book is to be removed, any scrawl to be erased.

There always has been and always will be only one Record Library, and the Record Library is known as the sum collected knowledge of mankind from every library in civilisation and arranged properly.

The Record Library exists to *pool knowledge*.


Manuals

Every single Record Library book or figure comes with a manual; that begins with a single folded leaf inside every book's front or back cover. The Record Library manual pages in any physical copy can be removed. Manuals are not attached.

Electronic publications from the Record Library include a single inside-cover first page for the manual. The manual is not considered part of any book proper or content in any way, and manuals are for Record Library notes and review only.

All fresh donations to the Record Library receive an otherwise blank manual with the words 'RECORD LIBRARY MANUAL' in capital letters in the centre of the top line, in font-size 11, and Sans-serif type-face.

When a manual is added to by a librarian upon review a centred asterisk ( * ) appears on the next but one line and any updates or remarks on the next but one line again.

Remarks are librarian comments and updated grades found during a review, and are always accompanied by season and day the review took place or concluded.

That being said, forgeries are always common-place. If in doubt, it is advisable to check with the Record Library directly for authentic publications. The Record Library will have all correct copies.

There are a few different manuals available for a variety of donations but all Record Library manuals carry this same CAPITAL text-format for titles and use both cases for remark.

The Record Library does not publish donations without a manual, a section, and catagory to go with it.


Provenance

Github, Gab, and Twitter

Github  github.com/dystotoken is where we will be building the code to the Record Library and Library Register once enough donations have been secured.

Twitter has received a permanent ban from the Record Library; As can be seen via the link above (it will remain) our twitter account at DYSTOTOKEN has been denied write access.

Gab has locked off both UK access to their website and denied VPN access for non-paying users. At this time Gab is under investigation and may suffer a ban from the Record Library in the future.

All Record Library bans are irreversible in all instances.
