Librarians
Applications
Any member of the Record Library can compose and donate an article '8' to apply for a librarian position in the Record Library at any time.
Please send us an email with your article '8' attached, and 'librarian application' in the subject field to dystofuture@protonmail.com
Donate an Article '8'
Article '8' composition and donation is the sole requirement for librarian applications.
For consideration, a fully completed and correctly formatted article '8' is required for donation and grading to below 1/8 margin for error.
Article '8's graded above 1/8 margin for error cannot be offered a position as a librarian in the Record Library. All applicants are welcome to try again, or make as many attempts as it takes.
Any article '8' that is graded under 1/8 margin for error will be offered a position as a librarian in any catagory one desires in the Record Library.
All article '8's are anonymous, along with all other donations to the Record Library, and all will be graded, in time.
Duties
Librarians may choose only one catagory to specialise in at a time, and the Record Library can provide suggestions for any who might be unsure which suits.
While only one catagory is possible per librarian at a time, librarians may tire and swap to a fresh catagory whenever they wish.

Catagories and Grading
In addition to the expectations and resposibilities described in the Record Library manual (for librarians), librarians are also tasked to curate ones' own catagory of choice in the Record Library; Preparing subject-matter and eras into batch content for graders to mark.
Librarians are expected to run Time-shifts of grading teams, lend assistance where needed, and at the end of each Time-shift deliver man-hour task-reports to the Record Library.
Catagory availability operates on a first come first served basis for all fresh librarians.
Fresh librarians may choose to assist curation in whichever catagory fits ones' own area of expertise closest, or take charge of a fresh niche catagory that has no librarian yet at all.
Any catagory that is not already staffed by a librarian in the Record Library will go to whichever chosen area of subject-matter any fresh librarian has chosen.
All librarian positions are voluntary only.
